Dislocated Worker/Adult
Program The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is a program to aid persons who have been laid-off from their employment due to economic downturn, foreign competition, company mergers or other reasons not related to the person’s job performance. Individuals may also be eligible based on income status. This program is intended to work with eligible workers to provide resources so they can return to productive employment as soon as possible.
